Week 17- Maybe we should pivot?

OK, so we started the week pitching the mentors about the journey we have going throw, the problem we are solving, and the way we develop our solution to it. We defiantly got some eye-opening feedbacks. Apparently, we're not solving the problem the best possible way. The main input we got is that we should try and help parents communicate with their children, in a more direct and active way - our little awareness object with its small gesture is not enough.

We had a few meetings and we decided that: We are staying on the dinner table. we still believe its the best context to create meaningful family time, and we are backed by science. Secondly, we can not use "quiet" as a sign of anything. its to general and the chances for false alarm and inappropriate interventions are too high. We are going to stay with a pretty similar prototype, but we want the family to really actively bond. The new "que"- smartphone usage on the table. the gesture- "calling" all family members to place their finger on their specific location on the object. the output- a rewarding physical/auditorial gesture, or a small game calling them to bond.

Wish as luck!

P.S- we have a first working button!
