Week 9 - Mentoring

This week - for the first time - we showed our plan for the prototype.

It was really intensive, a lot of new information and ideas, a mix of good things and bad things. even though the bad things are also good :) ...

We had three rounds of 2 minutes pitch which included the need, the existing solutions on the market, where do we fit in with our solution (on the scale of the existing ones), what is our target audience and how would our prototype look and behave like.

We felt that the most difficult thing was to be able to express all that in an informative way in only two minutes.

After that, each mentor asked questions and said his opinion. We were amazed at how quickly they were able to identify the challenges, weaknesses and advantages that existed within our idea and felt that we learned a lot from them.

we felt that the most important things that we didn't take in account was that dinner time with kids is difficult and adding another distractor to the table might not be helpful and another thing is to make a feeling of success even when the 'game' isn't finished (meaning that not all the pieces got to the middle) because anyway, an effort was done and we want to encourage that. There is a lot of work waiting for us until we will discover the best prototype for our need, and we were given a lot of new perspectives this week.
